BCYF Case Study
Problem
Baltimore Children & Youth Fund (BCYF) is a public charity stewarding public dollars to build partnerships that support the ecosystem focused on building opportunities for Baltimore youth. The organization amplifies Black and Brown led youth-centered programs in Baltimore City while providing capacity building, resources, and funding. BCYF hired Big Media Agency (BMA) to bring awareness to how they serve the public, to encourage non- profits to apply for grants, and to highlight those grantees and the important services they provide.
Solution
To achieve this goal, BMA supported BCYF through the telling of its dynamic multi-tiered story through a variety of integrated marketing communications and tactics. BMA promoted the amazing work of BCYF through the lenses of three dynamic audiences: Leadership, Grantees, and the children and youth attending programs. BMA achieved this through video spotlights, press releases, social media campaigns, and media interviews.
Results
BMA placed BCYF in a variety of local and national news media outlets within a few months time. In the process, the agency was also able to position Ms. Alysia Lee as an expert in her field in television, radio and print news locally and nationally. BMA was able to create billboards for all 101 Grantee Organizations and spotlight several of these grantees to extend the awareness of these organizations. Some of the media placements include.
